Holy Cross High School of Bayside educates each student according to the principles of the Catholic Church in the tradition of the Congregation of Holy Cross and its founder, Blessed Basil Moreau, CSC.
The Brothers and Priests of Holy Cross along with dedicated lay men and women have spent more than 150 years developing education for boys with emphasis on Fr. Moreau''s vision of educating the heart, mind and hands. <BR><BR>
Holy Cross acknowledges the sacrifices that many families make in order to send their sons to our school with its excellent tradition of academic and spiritual education. Holy Cross receives no support from the Diocese of Brooklyn, or from the larger Church or State. Therefore our budget for Financial Aid is not as large as we would like it to be. Financial Aid Awards are based on the need of each family as determined by an independent analysis done by Financial Aid Independent Review (FAIR). The value of the awards is based on the need of the total number of applicants in any given year. Priority is given to those families most in need. <BR><BR>
All students currently receiving financial assistance must reapply and qualify for the next year. <BR><BR>For <STRONG>incoming freshmen</STRONG>, the application must be completed by <STRONG>December 15, 2024</STRONG>.<BR> <BR>
All <STRONG>current students</STRONG> must complete their application by <STRONG>May 15, 2025</STRONG>. <BR><BR>Every effort will be made to reply to incoming freshmen by the March registration date, and to current students by July 1st. <BR><BR>
