A budgeted amount of financial aid is awarded on a yearly basis to Archbishop Rummel High School students and is based strictly on family need. Families verified to have extreme financial hardship will be considered for assistance. Annual awards are issued to students who are accepted and registered for the following year, and have qualified based on financial need. <BR><BR> All students currently receiving financial assistance must reapply and qualify for the next year. Qualification includes having fulfilled all requirements of the current Financial Aid Policy. Every applicant is evaluated on an annual basis.<BR><BR> Award amounts will depend on the total budget and the total number of applicants who qualify that have filed a completed application by the <STRONG>March 31, 2023 deadline</STRONG>. Applications are not complete without the submission of the required tax return, all applicable schedules, including copies of W2''s and/or 1099 forms, and the required payment of the processing fee.<BR><BR> A student who receives financial aid must perform work on the school campus between June 1 and April 30. This past school year, we were pleased to award over $3 million in tuition assistance to our families thanks to so many donors who support you and Catholic education for your children. Awards are granted based on family size and net income on your tax return. For income guidelines, go to <a href=http://www.CTOIowa.org>www.CTOIowa.org</a><BR><BR> Tuition assistance is available for children in K through 12 grades in Catholic schools in the Diocese of Des Moines. Forty-five percent of our families received financial aid this year. Awards ranged from $1,000 to $10,000. Rockhurst partners with Financial Aid Independent Review, Inc. This school year one-quarter of families qualified for some level of need-based assistance.<BR><BR> Families interested in pursuing need-based financial assistance begin the process by filling out an application which collects information on income and family expenses such as mortgage/rent, utilities, car payments, other tuition, etc. Jesuit High School uses a FHSAA approved outside financial aid service- FAIR- to assist in collecting and analyzing financial information submitted by families.<BR><BR> The information provided helps Jesuit High School to determine the level of need-based assistance for which a family is qualified.
